Home › About Longo
Family-built in Agawam, since 1986.
Three generations of the Longo family. The same crew you’ll see year after year. The same phone number we’ve answered since 1986. We’re glad you’re here — let us tell you a little about who we are.
It started with one truck and one promise.
In 1986, the Longo family started a small carpet cleaning business out of Agawam, Massachusetts. The idea was simple: treat every home like it was your mom’s. If you do that, the rest takes care of itself.
Forty years later, the trucks are bigger and the certifications are stacked, but the standard hasn’t changed. We still answer the phone. We still show up when we say we will. And we still stand behind every job — with the same 100% money-back guarantee we’ve offered since day one. We’re a family business. You’ll feel it the moment we walk in.
The credentials that actually matter.
In our industry, certifications aren’t decorative — they’re the difference between a technician trained to handle your home, your air, or your insurance claim, and one who isn’t.
IICRC Certified
The world’s most recognized body of certification for carpet, upholstery, and restoration. Our technicians are trained to industry standards for fiber care, water damage, mold, and structural drying — and recertified on an ongoing basis.
NADCA Certified
The only nationally recognized certification for air systems and duct cleaning. Our techs are trained in proper inspection, cleaning, and HVAC restoration — including the safety protocols that protect your home during the work.
BBB A+ Accredited
Better Business Bureau accredited since 2009. A public commitment to ethical practices, transparent dispute resolution, and real accountability — not just a logo, an actual standard.
Pet Stains & Odors
Enzymatic treatments that eliminate odor at the source — not just mask it. Safe for the fabric, safe for the pets that live on it.
A few moments that made
us who we are.
The first truck rolls out
Longo Carpet Cleaning founded in Agawam, MA with one truck, one technician, and one phone number — the same one we still answer today.
Restoration services
added
Western Massachusetts winters made it clear: our customers needed water damage help too. We invested in the equipment and the training, and never looked back.
BBB A+ Accreditation
Better Business Bureau accreditation — not just a logo, a public commitment to ethical business and accountability to our customers.
IICRC & NADCA
Certification
Full team certification through the two governing bodies that matter most: IICRC (cleaning & restoration) and NADCA (air duct cleaning). Recertified ongoing.
Forty years strong

We don’t promise to be the cheapest. We don’t promise to be the flashiest. We promise to show up on time, do the job right, and stand behind it — for forty years and counting.
Your home is a reflection of you. Our company is a reflection of our family. That’s why we treat every floor we clean and every flood we recover like it’s our own.
Give us a call.
That’s how most of our relationships start — a phone call, a quick conversation, a job done right. Forty years in, it’s still our favorite part.
